Hello everyone! I suppose this blog picture should read, "Keep Calm and Thank you for Reading." Yes I am going to address the not so happy subject of Charlottesville. I am going to address our country's long "negotiating" and "tolerance" of evil on two sides that has allowed this travesty and the unecessary deaths of human beings made by God. I am going to address how God sees evil, no matter how it attempts to dress itself up to look prettier or "of the light". I am also going to address God's hope and mine for the people caught up in two very dangerous and death-ridden ideologies.
I will start this blog by saying death and darkness will never overcome Light and Truth. You will see this statement again. (John 1:5)
I will begin. And I'm going to say this now, not everyone will like this but that is no concern of mine. I will speak plainly, both of evil and of hope.
Evil comes in many forms. It is all still evil. In Charlottesville, we had two forms, Nazis and Communists. Long time ideological enemies and control freaks who really are no different, they just go about things differently in an attempt to win you over. Let's call it what it is instead of Alt Right and Alt Left as if softening their names will soften any blows they will inflict on our society. I assure you, it will not. Have you not already seen testament to that? The Nazis at this rally were no more peaceful than a raging hurricane (how can you be when you want one race and one race alone), they are just better at not acting out. I will also say that if anyone thinks that just because they obey some rules when they "demonstrate" that they are "peaceful" or will let you have a seat at their table for "democracy's sake", you are kidding yourself. I have always found it fascinating and ridiculous that they want "one race" but they didn't create the race they want nor any of the other races for that matter. They are created human beings themselves (wow). Does anyone else see a fundamental flaw in this thinking or denial for that matter?
Now, let me stop here and say the protester who was killed and others who were injured were protesting peacefully (they were not associated with either extremist group) were harmed or killed for no other reason than they did not agree with an angry, hurting, evil, lost man who had been deceived by Nazi propoganda. In his mind, their lives were forfeit because Nazi ideology does not accept that life is sacred, it never has and it never will, despite their attemps to say and display otherwise. The Nazis in the last century killed over 10 million people, collectively, most of them Jews. Where is that in the definition of sanctity of life? It is void. Their arguments can't hold water.
Now other protesters at this rally were also not so peaceful. They are what we call the Alt Left. I call them Communists, right along the line of Lenin and Stalin. We have another name for them, AntiFa. The Communist AntiFa never has been and never will be peaceful nor will they ever see life as sacred. If they loved life, Stalin and Lenin would not have killed over 50 million people collectively. Where is this in the definition of the sanctity of life? It is void. Their argument can also not hold water. Do you see the parallel here?
Both of these groups are evil. One is just more vicious than that other and would get the award for most violent ideology if one was given to the distaste and annoyance of the other. Both of these groups seek to take our freedom! Both of these groups seeks to subject the West, as they did Europe and Asia on a larger scale in the last century to a master-slave relationship! This is the oldest trick in the book. Divide and conquer then sort out the conquerors to see who gets to be master of the slaves. We being the slaves. I will not stand for either form of this evil!! My God will not stand for either form of this evil!!
God sees both of these groups as evil, plain and simple. They don't get a pass as far as He's concerned. They will each be responsible for their actions and we should make them so. I will say here that many things masquarade as "agents of light" but are far from the heart of God or anything He represents (2 Cor. 11:13-15).
What hurts the heart of God is that people get mixed up in evil they do not understand and are deceived by things they do not understand. They are promised one thing and delivered something very differently. This hurts the heart of God because He loves all men and women and children and wish none to perish (2 Peter 3:9). However, he will also let people make a choice because He is love, as James Fields Jr. made a choice and those who participate with AntiFa make a choice. We all get to choose and we get to live with those choices. Yes, I said God loved James Fields Jr. and He did, He did not love his choice and James did not know a loving Father.
In our country, we have long ignored our prejudices which has made it "comfortable" for Nazi ideology to thrive underground. By doing so, we have tolerated and negotiated with them to have a say in how we think. We have done the same with Communist ideology only a bit differently. We have become arrogant and lazy in our common perception that it is gone from the earth simply because the Soviet Union is no more and China is "friendly". I can assure you it is not gone and it never was, it has simply just been underground reinventing itself as have the Nazis in an attempt to appeal to us in this time and in this century. Talk about biding your time, that is exaclty what both groups have been doing while we are asleep at the wheel! Wake up America!!
Now I want to address both my hope and God's hope for those who have been sucked into these ideologies and deceived. My hope is that they will see them for what they really are, just death and evil. They have been promised power and acceptance at a great price that will ultimately take their life. They have been preyed upon in their most vulnerable times and promised that "things will be different" and you will be "on top and not on the bottom anymore." They have been promised security for the exchange of freedom, for the exchange of their souls. What a heavy price to pay!
Their "promisers of power" did not make them and do not love them, they only seek to enslave and ultimately destroy them.
My prayer for these people is for freedom; for soul freedom, for mind freedom and to come to know what love and acceptance trully are in the face of a loving God who made them in His image. Yes in repentance there may be consequences for actions but it is better than deception and death. Is it not?
My prayers go out to the families of those who were injured and to the injured. My prayers go out to the family and friends of Heather Heyer who was killed in cold blood for simply believing differently and walking down a street to say so. Do not think that God does not see you and that He did not see her and them, He does and His heart is breaking too. He loves you and He loved Heather and He wants you to know Him too.
I will leave you with three verses that will both comfort and convict all of us during this time:
John 16:33, AMP: (the word of Jesus Christ) "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]
1 John 4:4, AMP; "Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world."
John 1:5, AMP; "The Light shines on in the [a]darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it [and is unreceptive to it]."
Death and darkness will never overcome Light and Truth! Love has already won!!!!
