Hello everyone! Happy 2017!
The title of today's post was borrowed from a Matthew West song called "Day One." I woke up this morning with this phrase going through my head. The song itself is about moving into the future knowing that God's got you and your future in His capable hands.
I could not agree more!
As I look to 2017, I have plenty of things I want to do and places to go. I also have goals to accomplish. I know God's perfect plan is continuing to play out in my life even now. To start this year off, I needed to organize some things at home and in my finances. I have actually been in the organizational mood since after Christmas. I feel like I am getting ready for something, even though I'm not what that something is, but God knows. He has confirmed many things to me this last month through things people have said or done about new things to come and to do! I can honestly say I am excited! I will continue with pursuing His best with my goals this year. I can't wait to see what He has in store for me!
As we all start this new year, no matter what you want to do or have to do, trust what you are doing to God. He is never wrong and He has THE BEST in store for you always. Decide not to settle this year, it's just not worth it. Don't get in a hurry and be flexible. And last but certainly not least to quote a dear friend, "Do you!" Be who you are and don't apologize. God made you just like He wanted to and He doesn't make junk.
And finally, thank you all so much for reading my blogs last year and supporting my book. I look forward to another great year of writing!
