Happy Christmas Eve!

Hello everyone!

This weekend many of us will gather with friends and family to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We will laugh, sing, and love. I am so excited about seeing my nieces open their gifts. They always get so excited and are always thankful. I love to watch the wonder of children.

I want to remind everyone that Christmas can be a hard time for many people. Please be mindful of this in your interactions with others this weekend and into the coming week. Be Jesus to those who are lonely this week and into the next year. Be love to those who do not believe anyone loves them.

I want to end this short blog with two verses that I hope will not only bring encouragement and comfort, but joy this Christmas season. They have certainly brought these things to me this year.

John 16:33; "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrow. But take heart, because I have overcome the world."

James 1:17; "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow fo turning."

Happiest of days to you!

Elizabeth
